Signs DIY

Magnetic and Vinyl Signs for Vans and Cars

Signs DIY is a British manufacturer specialising in commercial vehicle graphics. Its catalogue is organised into three main lines: magnetic van signs, magnetic car signs and vinyl van signs. The company manufactures in the UK and offers fast shipping, as well as including the design service with all its orders.

Magnetic Van Signs

The magnetic panels are quick to put on and take off and are cut to the shape of the vehicle. The catalogue presents them as the best-selling option and sells them from £230.00, VAT included. The company recommends them for those looking for temporary or interchangeable signage without resorting to permanent installations.

Magnetic Car Signs

The line for cars replicates the magnetic panel system, with sizes adapted to each model. They are offered from £45.99, VAT included, and the site highlights them as a recent addition to the catalogue.

Vinyl Van Signs

The vinyl signs are designed for long-lasting, professional-finish graphics. The catalogue sells them from £210.00, VAT included, and the company associates them with a clean, permanent image for the vehicle.

Ordering and Design Process

The order is structured in three steps. First, the customer specifies the type of sign and the vehicle details so that the design fits its exact dimensions. Then, the company prepares a proposal and sends a proof, with the option to request a design revision. Once approved, the sign is printed and dispatched. The design service is included in the price and orders come with a two-year guarantee.

Installation and Maintenance

The company compares its magnetic signs with those of other manufacturers and highlights that they do not require the van to be off the road, they install in seconds, they are easy to take off and they can be changed or updated at any time. According to that comparison, they need no tools or chemicals and are suitable for those new to vehicle graphics, unlike options that require an appointment, specialist tools or involve a greater commitment.

Workshop and Customer Service

Signs DIY operates a workshop open to customers, who can visit it to buy directly with assistance from the team. The workshop is located at Unit 20, Business Centre West, Letchworth, Hertfordshire SG6 2HB, and is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The company states that it serves more than 5,000 small businesses and that its signs have been seen on thousands of branded vehicles.
