Superpool

Superpool, pool and dining tables made in the UK

Superpool presents itself as one of the leading premium pool table manufacturers in the UK and operates from Leighton Buzzard, where it maintains its workshop and a small showroom. The company supplies both the domestic and professional markets and distributes its tables nationwide. Its catalogue combines its own manufactured tables with models from other brands, as well as accessories and maintenance services.

The Rosetta and Lightning own series

The core of its offering is two lines of convertible dining tables designed and manufactured by the company itself. The Rosetta is a handmade modern dining table that transforms into a tournament-standard English pool table; it features straight legs for maximum legroom and hidden levellers, and accepts matching wooden or glass dining tops with an easy-lift system. The Lightning, also handmade in the UK, stands out for its lightning-bolt leg design and external levellers, and likewise offers a glass or wooden dining top to switch from a game table to a dining table.

The catalogue showed the Rosetta in finishes such as Nebraska oak, satin white, satin grey, satin black, Santa Fe walnut and Carrara marble, in 6 and 7 ft sizes, with prices ranging from £1,999 to £2,595. The Lightning appeared in graphite grey, Monaco grey, gloss white and Carrara marble, at £5,595.

Table types and distributed brands

The shop organises its offering by type: in-stock pool tables, ex-showroom and reconditioned tables, dining tables, slate bed tables, outdoor tables, British tables, American tables, luxury tables, space-saving folding leg tables and coin-operated tables. It also allows filtering by size (6, 7 and 8 ft) and by price range, from under £1,000 to over £4,000.

Alongside its own series, it distributes tables from the brands Cry Wolf, Supreme, Gatley, Optima, SAM, Buffalo and DPT. The company advertised a £200 discount on all Cry Wolf pool tables.

Accessories, re-clothing and other games room items

The range is completed with English pool and snooker cues, including fine tip models, cue stands and racks, cue care products and re-clothing services for English pool, American pool and snooker tables. In furniture and complements it offers dining, games room and office furnishings, signs and canvases, cloths, lighting, balls, table parts, chalk, rules, trolleys and cue stands.

Within the indoor games section are table tennis tops, football tables, air hockey, folding leg pool tables and video games.

Showroom by appointment and customer service

The company operates from a small showroom displaying eight tables, benches and other accessories. Visits are by appointment only, arranged by phone, in order to dedicate time to each customer and go through the available styles and options. The telephone opening hours indicated are Monday to Sunday, 9:00 to 18:00, and the company notes that the showroom opens at convenient times on weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

The site records an average rating of 4.92 out of 5 from 88 verified reviews, and mentions more than 85 five-star reviews. The company states it applies a lowest price guaranteed policy.
