Roof Maker

Roof Maker rooflights and roof windows

Roof Maker is a British company dedicated to the design and supply of rooflights and roof windows for homes. Its catalogue is organised into three main families — flat roof rooflights, roof lanterns and pitched roof rooflights — and is presented as a range of solutions designed to bring in natural light with a sleek aesthetic profile and lasting durability.

Flat roof range

The flat rooflight offering includes fixed and opening versions, with double or triple glazing, as well as electric access models. The company describes this family as a patented suite of roof windows designed to introduce light into the home. The catalogue indicated starting prices of £568 plus VAT for this line.

Roof lanterns and pitched roofs

Within the roof lanterns, the Slimline®, Pyramid and a hinged opening Slimline® variant are available. The company notes that the Slimline® uses one of the lowest-profile aluminium glazing bars on the market, with ventilation options and various configurations. For pitched roofs it offers the Luxlite® range, with a frameless design for roofs with a pitch between 15 and 70 degrees, also available in a Conservation version and in the fully opening Luxlite® Plus variant. The starting prices shown on the site were £516 plus VAT for roof lanterns and £580 plus VAT for pitched rooflights.

Specific models and technical applications

The catalogue also brings together solutions for specific needs:

• Modular rooflights and O-Lite® round rooflights.
• Wall abutment rooflights and walk on rooflights.
• Passive House rooflights and fire rated rooflights.
• Blinds compatible with the rooflights.

The company also offers a new fully opening pitched rooflight, presented as a product novelty.

Project support and warranty

Roof Maker structures its customer service across several fronts: a sales team that advises on which rooflight is suitable according to light hours, ventilation needs and frame components; a technical service that provides pre- and post-sale advice on seals, handles, glass choice and other components; and an online quote tool with thousands of configurations. The company states that all its rooflights include a 20-year unit seal warranty as standard, which it presents as an industry distinguishing feature. It also has a showroom to see the range in person and offers an on-site installation service, mentioned by customers who opted for it.

Patented design and sustainability

The firm links its offering to a patented design and thermal performance that, according to its presentation, provide durability and a long lifespan typical of a hand-built product. The company describes itself in its own material as the UK's leading rooflight and roof window company.

Customer reviews

The site collects Trustpilot and Google reviews dated between January and August 2026. The comments highlight communication during ordering and delivery, product quality, the attention of the sales and technical team and the clarity of the installation instructions. Several customers indicate they are repeat buyers and mention having contracted the installation with the company itself.
