Styles, materials and brands

The catalogue can be filtered by style and material. Styles include children's furniture, oak, painted, pine, white, French style, Italian, rattan, marble, mirrored, kitchen, mango wood, German and ready assembled furniture. As for materials and finishes, highlights include ceramic dining tables, marble tables (coffee, dining, console and side tables), mirrored furniture (bedside cabinets, coffee tables, dressing tables and sideboards) and oak pieces (beds, bedside cabinets, chests of drawers, wardrobes, dining tables, sideboards, coffee tables, console tables, TV units and bookcases). The company works with brands such as Urban Deco, Rauch, Weimann UK, Julian Bowen and Bentley Designs, among others.

Delivery, assembly and payment methods

CFS operates as an online retailer with UK-wide delivery coverage. Delivery is free in England and Wales for most items, with lead times that vary depending on the product and availability; some selected items are eligible for next-day delivery. The company delivers using its own vans, which it says reduces the risk of damage. Many products over £600 may qualify for a white-glove delivery service in England and Wales that includes room placement and assembly for an added charge. Some items require simple assembly. As for payment, the company usually offers finance through Retail Finance and PayPal, with options shown at checkout or on selected product pages.

Showroom and customer service

In addition to the online store, CFS has a showroom in Leicester where customers can see the furniture in person, although the company describes itself as an online retailer and does not limit purchases to a physical visit. The company states that it is rated "Excellent" on Trustpilot and offers customer support before and after purchase. It has information pages on delivery, returns, terms and conditions, privacy policy, complaints policy and secure payments, as well as buying guides for dining tables, sofas, wardrobes, coffee tables, bedside cabinets, dressing tables and chests of drawers.

Offers and new arrivals

The store maintains new arrivals, clearance and special offers sections, and runs regular promotions on its most popular ranges. At the time of review, the site showed a flash sale with 15% off and a selection of featured discounted products, including the Camille bedside cabinet in French style oak, the Dunmore oak corner TV unit, the knocker back dining chair in grey velvet with chrome legs, the Milan white marble dining table, the round Circles side table with glass top, the Diego swivel dining chair in grey leather, the Merlin six seater dining table, 180 cm, in white ceramic, the Bianco dining chair in grey faux leather with chrome cantilever base, the Seville two seater sofa in brown fabric and the Louis coffee table in grey marble and chrome.
