About Pebble & Pine Coffee
Pebble & Pine Coffee began in Leeds in 2016 and keeps roasting to order at the center of its work. Dave and his team prepare single-origin coffee for home delivery, with a selection connecting origin, roast level, and brewing method. A purchase can focus on a familiar coffee or make room for a different variety in each order.
The catalog organizes African, Central American, and South American origins alongside coffees such as India’s Monsoon Malabar. Colombia Excelso comes in medium and dark roasts; Honduras Finca Liquidambar and decaffeinated Honduran coffee are among the medium-roast options. Colombia Supremo Café Sofia adds another Colombian selection. Shoppers can compare regions while recognizing that the same origin may have different preparations.
Grind selection accompanies bean selection. A coarse grind is intended for a French press, medium for filter brewing, and fine for espresso; coffee can also be ordered as whole beans and ground at home. Roast level has its own categories, so preferring a more roasted flavor need not be confused with a coffee’s origin.
Selection boxes bring together coffees to sample or give as gifts. Subscriptions provide continuity and a way to discover catalog selections, with management through the customer account. Pebble Rewards brings together rewards, while the blog and guides provide information about varieties and growing regions.
French-press and pour-over instructions support home preparation. Other resources explain coffee storage and the SHG designation used in coffee growing. They add context to a delivered bag and help distinguish storage, grinding, and extraction.
The roastery is at 1A Park Centre, Station Road, Horsforth, Leeds. Orders can be picked up on weekdays during the hours specified for that activity. This is a roasting and coffee-retail operation: roastery pickup serves a different purpose from sitting in a café for a prepared drink.
Coffee is roasted for each order and usually dispatched within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Standard service advertises three to five days from ordering, and first-class service two to four. These timeframes place the purchase within a roast-to-order process, with freshness and format selection at the center of a small specialty coffee retailer.
