DRAutoArt: graffiti-style painting dedicated to motorsport

DRAutoArt is a one-person art project based in Yorkshire, England, producing original works inspired by car and motorcycle racing. Its catalogue covers Formula 1, MotoGP, NASCAR, WRC, WEC, WSBK and TT themes, as well as helmet designs. Each piece is handmade with spray paints and hand-cut stencils, resulting in unique creations.

Original works and themes

The output is organised around several themed lines: F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, WRC, WEC, WSBK and TT, along with a dedicated helmet design section. The site also includes a shop with categories such as NASCAR Shop, F1 Shop, MotoGP Shop, 4658 Shop, All Helmet Design and Merch. The A2-sized paintings are always originals and are made with hand-cut stencils and Kobra aerosols. According to the artist's own description, every drip, splat and flick is random, reinforcing the one-of-a-kind nature of each work.

Personal commissions and availability

The studio accepts personal commissions for pieces not in the shop or to enquire about sold-out works. The artist says he tries to create a new piece every day, so the shop is updated frequently. Works are shipped worldwide rolled in a strong cardboard tube, ready for framing.

Background and origins of the project

The activity began as a hobby alongside a conventional job. In 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic, the creator launched a Kickstarter campaign that, with the support of his followers, allowed him to build a studio and devote himself entirely to artistic creation. Since then he has expanded his work to painting kart helmets, a format that lets him apply his graffiti designs to racing equipment.

International reach

The studio operates from Yorkshire, England, and has shipped works to various countries. The shop shows prices in pounds sterling (GBP) and offers worldwide shipping. Communication with the artist is via a contact form available on the site.
