Beaverbrook is a luxury country house hotel located in Leatherhead, Surrey, in the heart of the Surrey Hills, about 20 miles from London. The property presents itself as a classic English estate and occupies a 470-acre estate. It was the former residence of publisher and politician Lord Beaverbrook, and its history remains integrated into the whole.

Accommodation in four areas of the estate

Accommodation is spread across four distinct areas: The House, The Garden House, The Coach House and The Village. Each has its own character, and the hotel also offers family rooms with interconnecting options. The offer is completed by packages combining accommodation and meals, such as Brunch, Bed and Breakfast; Dinner, Bed and Breakfast; and family or spa proposals.

Gastronomy and culinary experiences

The dining offer includes a Japanese-inspired menu at The House, Anglo-Italian proposals at The Garden House, classic British cuisine at Mrs. Beeton's and cocktails and whiskies at Sir Frank's Bar. The hotel also offers experiences such as Balloon Dining, with cocktails, Japanese dishes and open-flame barbecue under the sky; The WildKitchen; picnics; and private dinners. Weekend brunch at Mrs. Beeton's is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 16:00.

Spa and wellness

The Coach House Spa is a wellness space designed by artist Brian Clark, with stained-glass ceilings that cast colourful shadows. It offers treatments and experiences, as well as spa days and memberships. The spa has hosted spiritual residencies, such as that of master Geshe YongDong (Geshela), with meditation, conscious breathing, sound healing and conversations.

Activities, events and families

The estate offers outdoor activities and spaces for families, with a kids' club and on-site activities. It has spaces for meetings, corporate events, business retreats, weddings and special occasions. It also has a home cinema, presented as the first in the United Kingdom, and a Sunday Cinema and Sleepover Club programme.

Beaverbrook Town House in Chelsea

The group also operates Beaverbrook Town House, a boutique hotel in the Chelsea area of London, with 14 suites in two restored Georgian houses, each decorated and named after London theatres, and a Japanese restaurant. This property is presented as an urban extension of the Surrey hotel.

History and art

The estate was the home of the 1st Baron Beaverbrook, publisher and politician, who hosted numerous prominent figures. The hotel maintains an art collection and a section dedicated to its history. The estate is also dog friendly and has an estate map for visitors.
