Cocoon Chicken Coops: wooden chicken coops for British gardens

Cocoon Chicken Coops is a UK-based retailer selling chicken coops, hen houses, runs and rabbit hutches, as well as accessories for these enclosures. The company presents itself as a trusted British brand with over 15 years of experience in the poultry sector. Its catalogue is designed for the country's weather conditions and gardens, with wooden structures intended to protect animals all year round.

Products for chickens and rabbits

The range is organised into several families: chicken houses, chicken coops, runs and accessories, along with rabbit hutches and their complements. Featured items include the Cocoon Chicken Coop & Run – 3000WX, The Cocoon Farm House Chicken Coop and the Cocoon Chicken House – ECO 10002N. The company also mentions an organic mite powder. Sizes range from compact models for 2–4 chickens to walk-in style coops with integrated runs, with options from 4 to 8 feet. In addition to chickens, the catalogue includes housing solutions for ducks and quail.

Design, materials and maintenance

The products are made from high-quality wood and avoid plastic, according to the company, with the aim of achieving durability and sustainability. The designs incorporate ventilation, raised resting areas, secure access doors and predator protection, with defence against foxes and adverse weather conditions in mind. The firm also highlights easy access for cleaning and simple assembly of its structures.

Delivery and customer service

Cocoon offers next-day delivery on all mainland UK orders. The company emphasises its commitment to customer service and buyer satisfaction, and encourages both individuals and businesses to get in touch for advice on its products or on its custom-built service. On its website it publishes customer reviews on Trustpilot, with an average rating of 4.2 stars, and maintains a blog with guides on choosing rabbit hutches, preventing mould in chicken coops and product news.

Customer profile and presence

The company targets pet owners and home breeders, from those just starting out keeping chickens to those expanding existing setups. Its catalogue aims to balance durability, ease of maintenance and value for money, with options for small gardens and large rural spaces. The business is supported by an online shop and a telephone helpline.
