Endurance Beds

Endurance Beds, design beds made in the UK

Endurance Beds is a British firm dedicated to the design and manufacture of beds and bed frames that it sells directly to the public. The company presents itself as responsible for the entire process, from manufacturing to sale, and offers full customisation of its models. Its catalogue is organised by style, size and colour, with the stated aim that the bed frame should determine the complete aesthetic of the bedroom.

Types of bed and styles available

The range includes metal beds, wooden beds, divan beds, ottoman beds, bunk beds, four poster beds and floor beds. Featured models include the Ellingham ottoman bed, the Crofton metal bed, the Kenninghall four poster bed, the Castleacre wooden bed and the Cley fabric bed, the latter in a bouclé vanilla cream finish. The company also sells mattresses and bedroom furniture, such as the Memphis collection.

Sizes from single to Caesar

The catalogue covers a wide range of sizes: 3ft single beds, 4ft small double beds, 4ft 6 double beds, 5ft king size beds, 6ft super king beds, 7ft emperor beds and 8ft Caesar beds. This variety makes it possible to cater both to small bedrooms and to large-format rooms.

Customisable colours and finishes

The selection can be filtered by colour — black, white, grey, cream, pink, green and blue — and by finish, with options such as dark wood, oak, velvet, patterned, bouclé and leather. The company works with Farrow & Ball paints and Cristina Marrone fabrics, which broadens the possibilities for customisation. The site also includes an inspiration section for combining colours and finishes, with content such as ideas for four poster beds in small bedrooms or combinations for dark wood and cream beds.

Guarantee, finance and wholesale

Endurance Beds states that it offers up to 12 years' guarantee on its products and has finance options for orders over £300.00, limited to UK customers and subject to age and credit status. The company also has a wholesale channel for trade professionals.

Customer reviews

The site collects 96 reviews, of which 90% give the highest rating and 8% give four stars. The comments mention the speed of delivery, the sturdiness of structures such as the Lenox metal bed, the quality of the mattresses and the possibility of adapting designs and fabrics. Some reviews point out issues with the delivery and assembly service, as well as the high firmness of certain mattresses.
