Parents Booking

Netmedia school platform for scheduling family-teacher meetings, clubs, wraparound care, events, and payments.

About Parents Booking

Parents Booking grew out of a specific school problem: paper sign-up sheets made it difficult to coordinate meetings between families and teachers. Its Scottish developer, Netmedia, turned that need into a platform where each school sets its schedule and families choose their own appointments. The system now covers more parts of school life, from in-person, video, or hybrid conferences to clubs, events, and before- or after-school care.

For parent-teacher meetings, a school can publish appointment slots and let families choose from the available times. For extended-day activities, the platform helps manage spaces, waitlists, and payments for clubs, trips, and events, along with communications about changes. The product page describes tools for reports, attendance registers, reminders to families who have not booked, and parent requests for places. Each school controls which services it offers and how it sets its rules.

Integration with school systems is a central part of the design. Parents Booking says it can sync with school management databases and connect with sign-in, communication, and payment tools such as Google, Microsoft, ParentPay, Stripe, PayPal, Wonde, and Groupcall. Netmedia says more than 4,000 schools in different countries use the platform; that is a company-reported figure and may change. The product is designed for schools that need to organize several kinds of booking in one system, not as a standalone public calendar.

The developer, Netmedia Ltd, is registered in Scotland and lists its registered office in North Kessock, near Inverness. Schools can request a demo or trial; the support channel depends on how they subscribed. Customers who buy directly from Netmedia use its help desk, while some schools that access the service through education partners need to contact that provider’s support team. For families, each school supplies the booking and login links, so the corporate listing does not create a general public account.
