EPC Today: directory of energy assessors in the United Kingdom

EPC Today is an online directory that connects property owners, tenants and property managers with professionals responsible for energy certification and other technical building-related services. Its website, epctoday.co.uk, organises its offering by location and certificate type, and includes reference prices for many of the services listed.

Certificates and assessments for residential and commercial properties

The site's catalogue covers both domestic and commercial energy performance certificates (EPCs), display energy certificates (DECs), electrical installation condition reports (EICRs), SAP calculations for building control, air tightness testing and legionella risk assessments. Accounting and locksmith services also appear, indicating that the directory is not limited to energy certification in the strict sense.

The reference prices shown on the website vary by service and area: domestic EPCs are listed from £60.00 in locations such as Smethwick (B66, B67), Lytham St Anne's (FY8), Kirkby (L32), Hoddesdon (EN11) and Grantham (NG31); DECs are advertised from £120.00 in most of the locations listed, with an exception in Salisbury from £335.00; legionella risk assessments appear from £90.00 in Basildon and Benfleet; and sustainability SAP calculations from £120.00 in Basingstoke. These are indicative amounts published at the time of analysis and may vary.
