Tyremen

Tyremen is a family-run shop in West Hull with roots in the city dating to 1970. It combines tire sales and fitting with MOT testing, maintenance, and repairs, serving drivers in Hull and East Yorkshire. Its online store extends its reach by shipping tires and other products to destinations across the UK.

The selection goes beyond passenger-car tires. Tyremen lists tires for cars, vans, and motorhomes, along with options for ATVs and lawn mowers; the catalog also includes spare-wheel kits and brands across different market segments. That range helps shoppers find everything from a daily-use replacement to a less common size for light equipment or recreational vehicles.

The workshop performs MOT tests, including Class 4, and maintenance services to keep vehicles roadworthy. The company lists full services, safety checks, fault diagnostics, and work involving brakes, batteries, air conditioning, and clutches. The appropriate service depends on the vehicle and what an inspection reveals.

Tire fitting can include balancing and a wheel check, while punctures and other problems are assessed based on the damage. Shoppers can search by registration or tire size and compare manufacturers such as Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear, Pirelli, and Hankook. Availability can be checked in the catalog, where fitting appointments can also be arranged.

The company describes an independent-workshop approach: explaining recommended work so drivers understand why it is needed. Its official site notes a waiting area with Wi-Fi and coffee, a practical detail for customers leaving a vehicle for an MOT, tire replacement, or a repair that can be completed during the visit.

Tyremen operates from Witty Street in West Hull and lists service coverage for drivers across East Yorkshire. For people in nearby towns, its service pages present the workshop as a base for tire work, MOT testing, maintenance, and diagnostics; the online store extends product sales beyond the local area.

The combination of a local workshop and online catalog supports different needs in one place: choosing tires, scheduling fitting, booking an MOT, or requesting mechanical service. Its offering ranges from routine automotive work to specialty tires for other vehicles, backed by more than five decades in Hull.
