Kustomflow: custom paint and airbrushing in Hull

Kustomflow is a custom paint and airbrush service based in Hull, East Yorkshire, producing work for clients around the world. Collaboration with Time Bicycles and the Ready to Paint option

Kustomflow is an authorised Time Bicycles reseller and offers its customers the Ready to Paint (RTP) option alongside stock colours. The purchase of an RTP frame includes a full custom paint in the chosen colour and finish (gloss or matte), together with the Time graphics for the model in the selected colour, and grants automatic priority in the paint schedule. Factory direct colours are subject to stock and availability.

The Time frame catalogue includes models such as TIME ADHX 45, TIME NXR, TIME SCYLON and TIME FLUIDITY, with prices that at the time of scanning stood between £2,639 and £4,399. For projects requiring a completely different or more exclusive design, the workshop offers additional options beyond the standard paint.

Motorsport helmets and other applications

Kustomflow creates complete custom paint designs on motorsport helmets, from the addition of a sponsor logo to a fully bespoke design. The workshop's work has been present at various levels of motorsport, from amateur to professional, including GP2.

In addition to frames and helmets, the workshop has painted other objects such as guitars and canvases, and has worked on in-house paint projects and under non-disclosure agreements (NDA) for independent companies, start-ups, frame builders, OEMs and major brands.

Process, materials and coverage

The workshop has its own paint mixing system with access to more than 15,000 international automotive colours, as well as RAL and Pantone references. Kustomflow states that it is fully insured, guarantees all work and uses only premium products.

The company is located north of Kingston upon Hull and serves customers from Yorkshire, the United Kingdom and internationally. Kustomflow's work has appeared in various publications and trade shows in the country, has been broadcast on Eurosport and has been present at all three Grand Tours. It has also helped customers win awards for their projects.

Services not available

Due to workload and extended lead times, the workshop indicated that at the time of scanning it did not offer paint services for general repairs, touch-ups, small items, sunglasses, cycling helmets or footwear.
