Hill Rise Architecture

Hill Rise Architecture is led by James Fearnley, an architect and RIBA member who works in HD8 and across Yorkshire. The practice handles home renovations and extensions, new builds, and commercial developments, and supports clients with planning and building regulations. Its stated approach begins by listening to a project’s needs, then shaping design solutions around the site, everyday use, and the people who will live or work there.

Sustainability is central to the firm’s stated method, with attention to responsible materials and energy efficiency as well as local context. Its website presents residential and heritage projects, ranging from home alterations to more complex buildings. Hill Rise lists its address at Hill Rise, 1–3 Chapel Lane, Emley, Huddersfield, HD8 9SP, and invites prospective clients to start with a conversation about their project. For anyone planning a renovation, extension, or new build in West Yorkshire, the practice says it can provide support from early design through completion.
