TaylorMade Screen Covers

TaylorMade Screen Covers: thermal covers made in West Yorkshire

TaylorMade Screen Covers is a family business based in Honley, West Yorkshire (United Kingdom), dedicated to manufacturing and selling vehicle covers directly, in particular thermal windscreen covers for motorhomes and campers. The company presents itself as a small workshop where everything sold is sewn in-house, without producing for other brands.

In 2016, Carolyn and Tina took over the business after their parents retired. Since then they have kept the activity going with a craft-based approach and direct customer service, operating from their factory in Honley and shipping orders nationwide.

Range of covers and accessories

The offering is organised into several product categories, with specific options for different vehicles and uses:

• External windscreen covers, available in winter version and for Class A motorhomes.
• Covers for specific vehicles, such as the VW Transporter (2024 – present) with long windscreen cover, the VW Caddy (2017 – present), and Ford Bailey Endeavour / Ford Trekker B62, B63, B64 and B65 models.
• Covers for motorcycles and bicycles: folding bike cover, motorcycle cover with tow ball mounting (electric or push) and scooter cover.
• Bonnet covers, including the A Class Bonnet Cover.
• Winter/summer park up covers.
• Complementary accessories, such as the wheel cover.

The catalogue includes indicative prices, such as the winter/summer park up cover at £60.00, the folding bike cover at £75.00, the A Class bonnet cover at £84.00, the long windscreen cover for VW Transporter at £225.75, or the cover for Ford Bailey Endeavour / Ford Trekker at £242.00. These amounts correspond to the information published on the site at the time of analysis and may vary.

Own manufacturing and certification

The company insists that it does not manufacture for third parties and that all products are made in its Honley workshop. To distinguish its original items, they use a certification badge, in blue or red, which their genuine products carry. The company warns that if a product does not have the Taylormade badge, it is not one of theirs.

Sales are made exclusively direct to the customer, without intermediaries, from their factory in Honley, West Yorkshire.

Compatibility and vehicles covered

The site allows you to shop by vehicle manufacturer, with sections for Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, Ford, Volkswagen, Renault, Mercedes and Vauxhall. This organisation makes it easier to find the right cover according to make and model. In addition, the company has developed covers for specific vehicles and has carried out custom adaptations, such as a cover for a Hymer B544 SL motorhome made from measurements, or a special cover for Renault Master.

Delivery times and operation

Orders are sewn and dispatched within 2 to 3 weeks of receipt. The company states that this timescale applies to all orders received at the time of enquiry. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 16:00 and Friday 9:00 to 15:00, remaining closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Customer reviews

The testimonials collected on the website highlight the quality of the covers, their precise fit and the absence of condensation on windscreens. Several customers mention the speed of delivery, the ease of installation and the service received from Carolyn and Tina. Some users report that they have bought covers for motorhomes, campers and motorcycles, and that they have received custom adaptations for specific models. The company also offers the possibility of fitting rails for the covers on the motorhome, as can be seen from a testimonial describing a visit to the workshop for a custom fit.
