Gravel Hill Car Sales: used car sales in Portsmouth and Hampshire

Gravel Hill Car Sales is a used vehicle dealership operating in Portsmouth and Hampshire, part of Gravel Hill Motor Group. The company presents itself as the largest affordable used car offering in the area and, following its recent move to Havant, has over 80 vehicles in stock at its premises. Its activity focuses on the sale of second-hand cars, with complementary finance, valuation and part-exchange services, and the backing of its own workshop.

Over 30 years in the used vehicle market

The company has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the used vehicle market. Over that time it has built a loyal customer base and has more than 600 five-star reviews across various platforms, including Google and Autotrader. In its own presentation it describes itself as the highest-rated independent car trader in the county.

Vehicle stock and available brands

Gravel Hill Car Sales' catalogue includes vehicles from brands such as Audi, BMW, Dacia, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda, Smart, Suzuki, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo. The vehicles are sourced from main dealers and come with an HPI-clear certificate.

Finance and credit specialisation

The company defines itself as a finance specialist. It maintains relationships with banks and firms specialising in motor finance, which has enabled it to help hundreds of customers obtain finance tailored to their budget. It is a credit broker, not a lender, and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under number 993916. Finance is subject to approval and it works with a selection of credit providers.

Servicing and maintenance

Alongside Gravel Hill Car Sales operates its sister company, Gravel Hill Service Centre, which has a state-of-the-art workshop at the same site. This centre offers servicing, inspections and MOT tests, allowing customers to cover their after-sales needs at the same premises.

Buying, part-exchange and selling vehicles

In addition to used car sales, the dealership offers the possibility of part-exchanging your current vehicle as part of the payment and of selling your car directly to the company. The activity is completed with maintenance services for the vehicles purchased.
