Sussex Pine Online

Second-Hand Pine Furniture in East Sussex

Sussex Pine Online is a British business specialising in traditional second-hand farmhouse and rustic pine furniture. Operating primarily online, the company individually selects each piece, photographs it and prepares it for delivery. According to its own presentation, it has been operating in East Sussex for over ten years and has handled thousands of pieces of solid pine furniture.

Its catalogue is aimed at those looking to furnish a country cottage, add rustic character to a modern home or find a unique piece. The firm notes that each item retains its own grain, colour and history, so no two pieces are identical.

Furniture Catalogue

The range is organised by room and type of furniture:

• Tables, chairs and benches
• Bedroom furniture: bedside tables, chests of drawers, dressing tables and pine beds
• Wardrobes
• Welsh dressers
• Other pine furniture: bookcases, desks, sideboards and storage cupboards
• Clearance items

Examples shown in the featured collection include traditional farmhouse-style chairs, a pine desk, a dressing table with mirror, chests of drawers in various sizes, several wardrobes (including a Lincoln model and painted or shabby chic versions), solid pine dining tables and an antique cottage-style dresser.

Features of the Pieces

The company states that most of its furniture comes from local sources and that many items are constructed with tongue and groove assembly and dovetail joints. These are used pieces in good condition, with marks typical of daily use and the passage of time.

Buying, Showroom and Delivery

Furniture can be purchased directly from the online shop or viewed at the showroom the company maintains on a farm in Hellingly, East Sussex. As this is an online business, it is necessary to contact in advance to arrange a day and time for a visit.

Sussex Pine Online offers UK-wide shipping, with free local delivery in certain areas, and an assembly service. The company also buys pine furniture.
