UK Wax Seals Ltd: custom wax seals and embossers from Essex

UK Wax Seals Ltd is a family-run business based in Grays, Essex, dedicated to making custom wax seals and embossers. The firm presents itself as a small-scale business that hand-engraves its products and takes on commissions for weddings, arts and crafts and personal correspondence.

Range of seals and sealing wax

The company's catalogue is organised into several product lines:

• Wax letter seals: custom designs for use with sealing wax.
• Premade impressions: peel-and-seal impressions, no wax needed.
• Graphic seals: imagery for events and all occasions.
• Christmas designs: a specific selection for Christmas.
• 3D engraving: bespoke service for intricate designs.

Sealing wax is offered in traditional stick and glue gun stick formats. Colour options include metallic gold, burgundy, red, copper, forest green, pearl electric blue and pearl white. Glue gun sticks start at £1.70, according to the catalogue.

Stationery, ink stamps and embossers

In addition to wax seals, the company sells a stationery line that includes ink stamps and embosser seals for businesses, envelope embossers for wedding and event invitations, themed embossers for invitations, envelopes and gift tags, and Ex Libris embossers for book collections and sheet music. It also offers Ex Libris ink stamps for library books and book collections.

The company has announced a new collection of envelope embossers with beautifully detailed graphics, designed to elevate stationery, wedding or anniversary invitations, Christmas cards and personal notes.

Customisation and bespoke orders

UK Wax Seals Ltd offers the option to send in your own designs for costing. The company describes its seals as a way to add a personal touch to gifts, letters and packages, and notes that the symbols used can work as monograms or designs with their own meaning, crossing borders and overcoming language barriers.

Shipping and customer service

The company states that it covers all customs and duty fees for EU customers, so there are no extra charges when buying. At the time of scanning, the site advised that orders would continue to be processed over the Christmas period and that shipping would resume on 2 January 2025.
