About British Bullion

Precious metals trading at twelve branches across the UK and Ireland

British Bullion is a precious metals trading company serving the public at twelve branches across the UK and Ireland: Belfast, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Hatton Garden, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oldham, Reading and Southampton. The company operates within The Vaults Group's network of safe deposit facilities, so each point of sale has safe deposit boxes on site. Customers can buy, collect the same day or store their metals in their own box at a single address.

The company trades gold, silver, platinum and palladium bars and coins, with prices quoted in pounds sterling and referenced to the real-time spot price. Quotations are provided by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Product catalogue

The range includes gold bars from 1 gram to 1 kilogram from LBMA-approved refineries, as well as silver, platinum and palladium coins and bars. Among the coins available are Royal Mint Sovereigns and Britannias, in both gold and silver, which the company presents as generally in stock and available for immediate collection at any of its branches. The full catalogue can be viewed online and also examined in person at the twelve locations.

British Bullion notes that Sovereign and gold and silver Britannia coins are exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents. It also offers VAT-free silver storage in customs warehouses in Zurich, London or the Cayman Islands.

Custody services and safe deposit boxes

The trading activity is complemented by the rental of The Vaults Group safe deposit boxes, available from £170 per year and accessible seven days a week. These facilities operate outside the banking system and allow customers to store not only precious metals but also watches, jewellery and important documents. Visits are arranged by appointment in accordance with the network's security standards.
