1st Direct Pools

1st Direct Pools is a UK supplier of swimming pool, spa, and hot tub products, combining online sales with advice for equipment maintenance, installation, and upgrades.

Its catalog ranges from chemicals and water-testing kits to pool cleaners, pumps, filters, liners, covers, heating, lighting, plumbing accessories, and replacement parts. The company dates its start to 1998 and says it expanded its capacity in 2007 with an 80,000-square-foot warehouse, infrastructure designed to support a broad inventory.

The store organizes solutions for different pool systems and sizes. Its brands and product lines include equipment from Hayward, Bowman, Little Giant, and Fairland, along with products for water treatment, circulation, and filtration.

Covers and liners require attention to measurements and production times; the website distinguishes stocked products from made-to-measure items. For outdoor recreation, the catalog also includes stand-up paddleboards and kayaks, together with accessories for water-based activities.

Technical advice is an important part of the offer. The team helps customers with questions about pool construction, supplies, and problems, and says it can point customers to a specialist when an issue falls outside its scope.

The company also offers a price-match request and discounts for trade customers. Online orders include delivery information: the site advertises next-working-day delivery for eligible orders over £60 placed before noon, with additional freight conditions for some oversized products and remote areas.

From its business park in Gillingham, Dorset, 1st Direct Pools serves orders across the UK and brings together a broad range for pool owners, installers, and maintenance companies. Its opening schedule changes by season: the weekday closing time is later from March through October and earlier during winter; the business is closed Sundays and bank holidays. For shoppers, the value lies in finding consumables, components, and equipment from one supplier, with technical support to help identify the right part or treatment before ordering.
