Balloon Monkey

Helium-inflated balloons delivered to your door in the UK

Balloon Monkey is an online store specialising in helium balloons that are shipped already inflated inside a gift box. The catalogue is organised around occasions and recipients, and the company operates under the legal name Bizzy Balloons LLP. Orders arrive at the address provided by the customer anywhere in the UK, with the option to choose the delivery date and track the shipment.

How balloon delivery works

The balloons are delivered fully inflated with helium and tied into a bunch with matching curling ribbons and shiny weights. Each balloon has a weight and a set length of string so that, when the package is opened, they form a specific arrangement. The company states that delivery is available seven days a week and that most orders qualify for free shipping or next-day delivery. The order can be tracked during transit.

Balloon catalogue and occasions

The range includes bubble balloons, foil balloons and confetti balloons, as well as colourful bunches and themed party balloons. The selection by occasion covers birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and engagements, baby showers, new baby, christenings, graduations, retirements, hen parties, welcome home, thank you, condolences, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, New Year, Mother's Day, Father's Day, St Patrick's Day, Pride, sports events and pets, among others.

Birthdays are broken down by age, from 1st to 100th, and also by recipient: dad, grandad, son, husband, brother, uncle, fiancé, boyfriend, mum, grandma, daughter, wife, auntie, fiancée, sister, girlfriend or grandchildren. There is also a specific selection for children, with variations for boys and girls.

Personalisation: photo, letters and numbers

• Photo balloons: the customer uploads an image, chooses the design and adds a personal message; they are delivered inflated throughout the UK.
• Giant letters and numbers: 76 cm tall balloons available in a range of colours to spell out messages.
• AI Balloon Genie: a tool that generates balloon designs from celebration details such as the age, name or interests of the person being celebrated.
• AI Balloon REMIX: allows selected balloons to be modified by adding names, changing the message or adjusting the colours.

Gifts and order extras

Alongside the balloons, the checkout process allows you to add premium personalised greeting cards, sweets — including free sweets to choose at checkout —, chocolates, soft toys and cake. The company presents its balloons both as gifts and as decorative elements for weddings, hen parties and family celebrations.

Environmental policy on balloon releases

Balloon Monkey states that it follows the European Balloon and Party Council code of best practice and applies a policy of not selling balloons when it knows they will be used for a balloon release. It recommends cutting used balloons with scissors and disposing of them in a bin.
