Ibex Exterior

Ibex Exterior: exterior cleaning and maintenance in North Devon

Ibex Exterior is a company with over six years of experience in exterior property maintenance. It operates in North Devon and presents itself as a local, non-franchised business that knows the area's weather, homes and community. Its work focuses on cleaning, restoration and small exterior maintenance jobs on homes and properties, with attention to detail and long-lasting finishes.

Driveway and patio cleaning and restoration

The company cleans and restores surfaces such as block paving, concrete, natural stone and patio slabs. It uses commercial-grade pressure washing equipment to remove built-up grime, moss, algae, weeds and stains. After cleaning, it applies a specialist treatment to prevent the rapid return of weeds, moss and algae, and to reduce the risk of slips.

The service also includes re-sanding block paving joints with kiln-dried sand, which re-stabilises the paving, improves drainage and restores a neat, finished appearance. It also carries out repairs and reinstatement: lifting blocks, re-levelling and repairing sunken or damaged areas to restore both the aesthetics and the structural integrity of the driveway or patio.

Gutter, soffit and uPVC cleaning and maintenance

Ibex Exterior handles the cleaning and maintenance of gutters, downpipes, soffits and fascias. The service includes removing leaves, moss and debris that can block gutters and downpipes, followed by a flow test to check that water runs freely. If leaks, loose joints or poorly aligned sections are found, the company can carry out minor repairs and adjustments.

For uPVC surfaces such as soffits and fascias, it uses a water-fed brush system and professional treatments that restore the original brightness without damaging the material. It also applies specific treatments to break down organic growth and keep uPVC cleaner for longer.

Professional roof cleaning

The roof cleaning service removes moss, dirt, lichen and organic growth using professional equipment and controlled pressure washing methods, where the roof type allows. After cleaning, it applies a chemical biocide treatment that continues working after the work is done to break down remaining spores and organic matter. This treatment helps prevent the rapid return of moss, algae and lichen, and helps improve roof drainage, reducing excess weight on tiles and the risk of gutters becoming blocked by moss wash-off.

Other exterior services and experience

As well as the most common services, the company carries out other exterior cleaning work, minor repairs and property improvements. With over six years of experience on varied projects, it is ready to look at specific needs that are not listed and to offer honest advice. The company states that it is fully insured, professional and eco-aware.

Photo reports and flexible plans

Every job includes a high-resolution photo report with before-and-after images, a service the company highlights as useful for landlords, holiday rentals and insurers. Ibex Exterior also offers flexible maintenance plans, with monthly or seasonal packages, and a 100% satisfaction or money-back guarantee.
