LIGA is a UK-based online shop that sells homeware and gift items made from sustainable materials. Its catalogue is organised around own-design collections and collaborations, and includes everything from placemats and coasters to ironing boards, tea towels, placemats, mugs and desk accessories. The company presents itself as a shopping option for those looking for unique, affordable products made with environmentally friendly materials.

Materials and sustainable approach

Natural cork and recycled EVA plastics are the most common materials in the catalogue. The brand also sells printed cork and smoked cork products, as well as cork items combined with tile. The company runs a cork recycling scheme and states its commitment to sustainability as the core of its business activity.

Collections and collaborations

The catalogue is structured into several themed lines. The Beach Clean collection uses recycled EVA plastics and is available in round, oval, rectangular and pebble formats, in both placemats and coasters. The Phytophilia collection includes organic tea towels and cork placemats. Seafood Platter, Flora and Shipping Forecast are other standout lines, with products such as cork trays, placemats and tea towels.

LIGA has a collaboration with ZSL (Zoological Society of London) that gives rise to the ZSL | LIGA Wildlife Collection, focused on wildlife conservation. This line includes placemats, coasters, cork and tile trivets, stoneware mugs, cork trays, organic tea towels and eco dishcloths featuring motifs such as elephants and bananas.
