About Direct2Florist
Direct2Florist: network of independent florists with same-day delivery in the UK
Direct2Florist is a British platform that connects flower buyers with independent neighbourhood florists. Orders are placed online and the local florist themselves creates and hand-delivers the bouquet, with no intermediaries or central warehouses. The company was founded by a family of florists with several generations in the trade and has been operating since 2007.
The network brings together more than 1,250 independent florists worldwide, with a strong presence in the UK. Same-day delivery is available in most areas if the order is completed before the local florist's cut-off time, usually 2pm, Monday to Saturday. It also allows deliveries to be scheduled weeks or months in advance.
How it works and business model
The customer enters the delivery postcode and the platform finds a nearby independent florist. The order is processed directly with that shop, which handles the creation and in-person delivery. This model differs from corporate relay services that channel orders through anonymous packaging warehouses.
The company states that all florists in its network are verified physical businesses with their own shop or studio. The platform shows real photographs of the shops, live galleries of recent deliveries and unedited customer reviews.
Catalogue and occasions
The catalogue is organised by occasion: anniversary, apology, new baby, birthday, congratulations, funeral, get well, thank you, thinking of you, surprise, sympathy and red roses, among others. It also allows filtering by recipient (for her, for him, for mum, dad, grandparents, girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, friends, sister or brother) and by product type, such as eco-friendly flowers, luxury bouquets, red roses or next-day delivery.
Featured bouquets in the catalogue include Florist Choice (from £45.00), Lemon & Lime (from £39.50), A New Day (from £39.50), Ashleigh (from £49.50), Wrap of Loveliness (from £39.50) and Sunrise (from £44.50). Most partner shops allow you to add extras such as chocolates, teddy bears or themed balloons.
Coverage and delivery times
Same-day delivery is available in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with hundreds of partner florists. The service also extends internationally with deliveries to Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA.
When there is no local florist available for hand-delivery, the platform offers an alternative: bouquets made by florists and sent via trusted courier. In that case, same-day delivery is unavailable and next-day delivery is offered for orders placed before 12:30pm, Monday to Thursday.
Transparency and reviews
The company makes transparency one of its core principles: it shows which specific florist creates each order, publishes galleries of real bouquets delivered in the last 24 to 48 hours and updates its customer review feed daily. According to the platform's data, it has accumulated more than 52,000 verified reviews and 97% of them award four or five stars. The website indicates a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on 52,037 reviews, as well as a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Feefo over the past year and an Excellent rating on Trustpilot.
The company also notes that it has received BFA (British Florist Association) awards for several years and recognition for its customer service.
Opening hours
Customer service is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00.
