About Triver

Triver: invoice advances for UK SMEs

Triver is a British financial platform aimed at small and medium-sized businesses in the UK. Its proposition, called cashflow streaming, consists of turning unpaid commercial invoices into cash within minutes, without this being a loan or a conventional factoring contract. The company presents itself as a modern alternative to traditional invoice financing.

The service is designed for businesses that issue invoices with long payment terms and need to cover operating expenses such as payroll, stock purchases or taxes before receiving payment from their customers. Triver states that it offers financing lines of up to £1 million.

How cashflow streaming works

The process is structured in four steps. First, the company connects its accounting software —Xero, QuickBooks or Sage— so that eligible invoices appear automatically on the Triver dashboard; they can also be uploaded manually. Then, the user selects the invoice they want to advance, checks the fee and the exact amount they will receive, and accepts the offer. The money arrives in the bank account immediately.

When the end customer pays the invoice, the advance settles automatically by direct debit, without the user having to manage manual repayments. The platform can be used as a continuously available credit line, 24 hours a day, and it costs nothing when it is not used.

Invoice conditions and limits

Triver accepts eligible commercial invoices issued in pounds sterling to UK limited companies, limited liability partnerships (LLPs), public sector entities or large non-British corporations. It also accepts invoices in US dollars or euros issued to foreign buyers, provided they are large corporations.

Invoices must correspond to work already completed, have payment terms of between 10 and 120 days and comply with the approved financing limit. Individual amounts can range from £100 to £100,000. Invoices issued to end consumers or sole traders are excluded.

Fee structure

The cost is presented as a single clear fee per advance, shown before accepting the transaction. It is a daily discount fee from 0.06% per day, equivalent to approximately 1.8% on a 30-day invoice, applied to the amount advanced. There is a minimum upfront charge equal to 10 days of fees, with a minimum of £18.

The company states that it does not apply setup fees, early repayment penalties or hidden charges, and that it does not require minimum usage. The total facility limit can reach £1 million, with a maximum of £100,000 per advance.

Discretion and relationship with customers

One of the features Triver highlights is discretion: the company does not contact end customers, who continue to pay the business directly. In this way, the commercial relationship is not altered and the customer does not know that Triver is involved in the transaction. The company also does not register charges over the customer's business, unlike traditional financing.

Customer profile and activity

Triver targets its service at SMEs in sectors that sustain the real economy. Among the examples it mentions are the manufacturing of machine parts in Macclesfield (Cheshire), the placement of nursing staff in Croydon (London), rail and road maintenance in Leeds (Yorkshire) and the placement of teachers in Bristol (Avon).

The company claims to have advanced more than £430 million and to have served more than 2,500 SMEs. According to its data, opening a financing line is completed in less than 10 minutes and receiving funds in less than 2 minutes. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and has a support team based in the UK.
