GeoDomeX: Transparent Geodesic Domes for Gardens and Businesses

GeoDomeX is a UK-based company that sells transparent geodesic domes made from polycarbonate panels. These structures are designed for installation in gardens, patios and outdoor spaces of homes and businesses, and are presented as an alternative that requires no planning permission. The company operates through its online store and distributes to multiple countries.

An extra space for all year round

The main product is a self-assembly geodesic dome that, according to the company, can be assembled in less than a day. It is designed to extend living space outdoors and allow year-round use, regardless of the weather. The firm describes it as an additional room for the home, suitable for activities such as dining, lounging, a study, a hot tub area or a workspace. The catalogue includes three sizes, with prices starting from £899, and a free LED lighting kit is included.

Design and weather resistance

The structure is made up of transparent polycarbonate panels that, according to the company, maintain their clarity over time thanks to UV protection and do not become opaque. The anchoring system using brackets keeps the dome secure even in strong winds, rain or snow. Integrated ventilation helps control condensation, and the sliding door allows access without losing interior heat. The company highlights that the product is designed for real weather conditions and not just for summer.

Applications for businesses and hospitality

In addition to residential use, GeoDomeX targets its domes at hospitality and tourism businesses. Documented uses include café terraces, outdoor dining spaces, glamping areas and tourist accommodation looking to expand seating capacity or create unique spaces for guests. The company states that glamping and hospitality operators have purchased multiple units for their premises.

Buying process and guarantees

The online store allows you to select the country or region, with prices and availability varying by destination. The company offers next-day delivery, 30-day returns and a lifetime guarantee on parts. Payment can be made by card, Shop Pay or financing through Klarna in three interest-free instalments, subject to approval at the time of purchase.
