Car Aerial Shop

Car aerials and audio components in the UK

Car Aerial Shop is a British online shop focused on the sale of replacement car aerials and car audio components. The catalogue brings together aftermarket aerials designed to replace the vehicle's original aerial, with 5 mm and 6 mm screw-in thread adaptors included in the pack. Unless stated otherwise, they are intended for models with an aerial base towards the rear of the roof and a female thread.

The company states that it operates from the UK and that all orders are processed and shipped from that country. According to its own presentation, it has completed over 50,000 online sales.

Replacement aerials by brand and mounting type

The range of aerials is organised by manufacturer and model. Among the brands covered are BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Suzuki, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo, as well as universal references. The catalogue includes roof-mounted and rear fin options and specific models such as the Mini Roadster R59, the Toyota IQ and the Alfa Romeo 159 and Mito. Masts of different lengths, short versions and DAB and DAB+ variants are offered.

Adaptors and wiring for the sound system

The shop sells aerial adaptors that allow aftermarket aerials and accessories to be installed on the vehicle's original radio unit. It has specific lines for BMW and for VAG group vehicles (Volkswagen and Audi), with aerial adaptors and amplifier leads. It also offers radio harness adaptors, such as those intended for Audi, which allow aftermarket stereos to be connected to the car's existing wiring system.

Speakers, Bluetooth and audio accessories

The catalogue is completed with high-quality car speakers, including full range coaxial models, tweeters and subwoofers to enhance the vehicle's audio system. In the Bluetooth section, portable speakers, adaptors, leads and connectors are offered for wireless music playback. Connectors, cables and adaptors compatible with the majority of car stereo equipment are also sold, with specific accessories for Kenwood and Pioneer.

Stereo removal tools

The shop has release keys and removal tools for removing original stereos from the dashboard. The range covers tools for Alfa Romeo, Audi, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Vauxhall and Volkswagen, as well as tools for removing Audi and Mercedes ventilation grilles.

Shipping, payments and how the shop works

Orders are shipped via Royal Mail first or second class, unless stated otherwise, and the company states that it endeavours to dispatch orders placed before 14:00 Monday to Friday on the same day. The site advertised tracked delivery for £2.99 and free UK delivery. Payments are processed through Stripe.
