Hybrid Gaming, operating under the legal name Hybrid Computing LTD, presents itself as a mid-sized provider dedicated to computer assembly, device repair and the organisation of gaming experiences. The company was formed in 2021 and is based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. According to its own description, it assembles around 1,000 PCs per year, repairs between 12,000 and 15,000 customer devices and welcomes 40,000 gamers annually to its gaming arenas. The firm notes that in 2023 it was building about 100 systems per year, a figure it uses to illustrate its growth.

Gaming PC range

The shop offers a range of gaming PCs built by the company itself and backed by its technical team. The catalogue includes everything from budget configurations to high-end systems, with models such as Hybrid Vesta, aimed at Minecraft and Roblox; Hybrid Artemis, with Ryzen 3500 and RTX 2060; Hybrid Apollo 2026, with Ryzen 5500 and RTX 3070; and higher-end models like Hybrid Mars 2026, Hybrid Fortuna 2026, Hybrid Loki 2026, Hybrid Hades 2026, Hybrid Cronus 2026 and Hybrid Vulcan 2026, with Ryzen 7 processors and Nvidia or Radeon graphics from various generations. At the very top is Hybrid Jupiter 2026, with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a 32 GB RTX 5090, which the website marks as available in very limited stock. Published prices range from £450 for the Vesta model to £9,650 for the Jupiter.

Systems for home, business and editing

In addition to the gaming line, the company sells systems for home and professional use, such as Hybrid Home & Business Lite in standard and Powerboost configurations, Hybrid Home & Business Core and a Hybrid Lite rendering system. The range includes laptops such as Hybrid Lite, Hybrid Core and Hybrid Executive, the latter with an 18-inch screen and a stated battery life of ten hours, as well as a Core laptop for gaming and editing. For artificial intelligence tasks there is HybridAI, a workstation with RTX 5090 and 32 GB of VRAM.

Refurbished systems, accessories and peripherals

The catalogue includes refurbished equipment with a twelve-month warranty, including HP, Alienware, Dell and Lenovo laptops classified by condition grade, plus a Hybrid Typhoon Refurb desktop. In the monitors and peripherals section, there are Viewsonic displays in 24, 27 and 32 inches with various refresh rates, including 4K and QLED models, a 1 TB storage upgrade for PS5, Office 2021 installation with a one-time licence and a £10 upgrade voucher.

Repair, support and warranty

The company provides a device repair service, launched in 2024, with a fixed labour price and quotes that, it claims, it honours in more than 99% of cases. New systems come with a three-year warranty covering parts and labour, while refurbished ones have twelve months. The website also mentions a one-year return-to-base warranty and a stress-testing process before delivery. The company states a Trustpilot rating of 4.9 over the last three years.

Gaming parties and gaming arenas

Hybrid Gaming organises parties for children in its arenas, with games, players and setups already prepared so that attendees only have to pick up a controller. The company says its goal is to reach five retail locations by 2028.

Working method and finance

The firm explains that it combines new components with quality used processors and graphics cards, so that at least 90% of the parts in each system are new, and backs the whole with a comprehensive warranty. It offers finance through Klarna and accepts PayPal. For custom builds, it asks the customer to describe how the system will be used and presents options tailored to that need.
