Ozlo UK and Sleepbuds 2 for sleep

Ozlo UK is the British sales channel for Ozlo Sleepbuds 2, earbuds presented by the brand as the world's smallest designed specifically for sleep. The store operates in pounds sterling and serves customers in the United Kingdom, as well as offering country selection for Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey.

The product is sold at £249 and includes free shipping, a two-year warranty and a 30-day return policy. The parent company, Drowsy Digital, Inc. (operating as Ozlo), markets in the UK through Brand Access, LLC, identified as the seller of all Ozlo merchandise in the country.

Noise masking instead of active cancellation

The proposition of Sleepbuds 2 is based on sound masking: instead of silence, they emit tuned sounds to reduce the impact of noises that interrupt sleep, such as snoring, traffic or sudden sounds. The brand contrasts this approach with active noise cancellation, which it describes as more suitable for constant sounds like engines or fans, but with higher battery consumption and less designed for sleep.

Among the scenarios illustrated on the website are partner snoring, noisy streets, disruptive neighbours, restless pets, frequent travellers and storms. Masking sounds include options such as Warm Glow, Ocean Tide, Emerald Green, Dream, Babbling Brook and Tumbling Waters.

Design and features of Sleepbuds 2

The earbuds are described as ultra-small, soft and low-profile, designed to stay comfortable in the ear even when sleeping on your side. The battery offers up to 14 hours of continuous all-night use, according to the brand, with streaming audio playback and sleep sounds at 50% volume. The company warns that duration varies by use, configuration, environment and other factors.

The device includes a dedicated button for phone-free control, a private alarm that only wakes the user and improved connectivity. The app allows streaming any content to help fall asleep and access built-in sounds to keep you asleep through the night.

Sleep and environment tracking

Sleepbuds 2 incorporate environmental sensors and analysis features that allow tracking sleep over time. The app shows a breakdown of deep, REM and light sleep stages from the previous night, and reports when noise occurred and how it may have affected rest, nighttime light exposure and temperature fluctuations.

Catalogue and accessories

Alongside Sleepbuds 2, the store sells an Ozlo 3D sleep mask, a USB-C cable, a travel case and replacement eartips. The website also offers a user guide, help videos, release notes and a firmware updater for the earbuds.

Scientific backing and advisory board

The brand has a medical advisory board that includes professionals such as Dr. Rebecca Robbins, affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital; neurologist and sleep medicine specialist Meredith Broderick; and performance psychologist Michael Gervais. The website includes testimonials from health coaches, nutritionists, athletes and authors who describe using the earbuds to block out noise and improve rest.
