About Trust Housing Association

Trust Housing Association: social housing and housing for older people in Scotland

Trust Housing Association is a Scottish organisation dedicated to providing social housing and supported housing for older people. Its activity is structured around two main categories: general needs housing, under the name Everyday Living Housing, and housing for older people, known as Later Living Housing, which in turn is divided into supported or care variants.

Housing models

The association's residential offer is organised into several categories. General social housing (Everyday Living Housing) is intended for those who need affordable housing. Within housing for older people, the organisation distinguishes between Later Living Housing, Later Living with Support and Later Living with Care, depending on the level of assistance available. It also manages a mid-market rent model (Everyday Living - Mid Market Rent).

Services for tenants and applicants

The association offers its tenants and those who have received an offer of housing a personalised benefits advice service. It also provides information and support with the cost of living, with guidance on available assistance. For people with little or no English, it provides tools and practical guidance through its Happy to Translate programme. Repairs and maintenance management, rent or bill payments and tenancy management are other usual services it channels through its website.
