About AuDHD Psychiatry
AuDHD Psychiatry: ADHD, autism and AuDHD assessment and diagnosis in the UK
AuDHD Psychiatry is a private clinic offering assessment, diagnosis and treatment services for adults and children with suspected ADHD, autism or a combination of both, known as AuDHD. Care is provided online across the UK and the team is led by professionals who are themselves neurodivergent, according to the organisation itself.
The clinic presents itself as an alternative to long NHS waiting lists, with the aim that most people are seen within a week of booking. No GP referral is required to start the process.
Assessments for adults
The catalogue includes three main options for adults:
- Adult ADHD assessment: aimed at those who have had persistent difficulties with focus, motivation or impulsivity. It includes diagnosis and treatment, and is carried out entirely online.
- Adult autism assessment: for those who have spent years masking or feeling different. A clear, personalised report is provided, with ADOS-2 assessment.
- Combined AuDHD assessment: a single assessment covering ADHD and autism for adults who identify with both profiles.
Assessments for children and adolescents
For children aged 6 and over, the clinic offers adapted assessments with parental involvement:
- Child ADHD assessment: includes a school report.
- Child autism assessment: with personalised assessment and school report.
- Child combined AuDHD assessment: covers ADHD and autism, with school reports.
Assessment and care process
The process begins with choosing the online assessment or a free 15-minute call to guide the case. No medical referral is required. Payment can be made in full or in three instalments via Klarna.
The assessment is carried out in a 90 to 120-minute online session with a specialist clinician. For children, an optional call with someone who has known the child during their development is available. After the assessment, a multidisciplinary team reviews the case and a feedback session is offered with the result, along with a personalised written report and practical recommendations to share with the GP, school or employer.
Treatment and follow-up
The service does not end with diagnosis. When clinically appropriate, ADHD medication management is offered under the supervision of a psychiatrist, shared care with the GP where possible, and coaching for adults with ADHD, autism or AuDHD. Follow-up continues with the same team.
Clinical team
The organisation is led by a neurodivergent team and users can choose the professional they wish to work with. Team members include Dr Darren O'Reilly, chartered psychologist and clinical director; Dr Daniela Maria Tomus, consultant psychiatrist; Dr Tracy King, chartered clinical psychologist; Dr Bano Hassan, consultant clinical psychologist; Dr Evangelina Bailo, clinical psychologist; Donna Whitemore, neurodevelopmental lead and governance lead; Jess Sweet, psychologist and ADHD coach; James Bridgewater, mental health nurse prescriber; Gayatri Watson, nurse prescriber; Isma Yaqoob, clinical pharmacist prescriber; Julie Connell, mental health nurse and ADHD assessor; Angela Thompson, registered nurse; Jane Yule, mental health nurse; Natasha Rigby, registered nurse and autism assessor; and Christina Efthymiou, assistant psychologist.
