Bonners Music

Bonners Music, specialists in pianos, keyboards and guitars in the United Kingdom

Bonners Music presents itself as one of the leading British suppliers of musical instruments, with a catalogue covering acoustic and digital pianos, keyboards, guitars, amplifiers, effects and professional audio equipment. The company combines online sales with a network of physical showrooms where customers can try instruments before buying them.

Its offering is organised into three main areas: pianos and keyboards, guitars, and live sound and recording equipment. In the pianos section it includes grand pianos, upright pianos, digital pianos, stage pianos and portable pianos, both new and second hand. In keyboards it works with synthesisers, arranger keyboards and portable stage pianos. The guitars section covers electric guitars, acoustic guitars, basses, amplifiers and effects, with a specific section for second hand instruments and amplifiers.

Bonners Music's catalogue includes leading brands in the sector. In pianos and keyboards it works with Yamaha, Kawai, Bechstein, Hoffmann, Roland, Casio, Nord, Korg, Hammond and Dexibell. In guitars and basses, Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, Gretsch, PRS, Epiphone, Martin, Sigma, Music Man and Squier appear, among others. In amplification and effects, Roland, DB Technologies, Boss, Line 6, MXR and NUX are featured.

Showrooms

The company has four showrooms in the United Kingdom, located in Eastbourne, Reigate (Surrey), Milton Keynes and Newcastle. There, customers can compare pianos, keyboards and organs in person, hear the differences in sound and try the response of each instrument. Bonners describes these spaces as a relaxed environment, with no sales pressure, where the team — made up of musicians and piano specialists — offers practical advice based on their own experience with the instruments.

In addition to the piano showrooms, the company has a guitar store in Eastbourne and a guitar workshop.

Purchase and after-sales services

Bonners Music offers flexible finance options on selected instruments and part exchange possibilities to make upgrading equipment easier. It also allows order collection from its warehouses for those who do not want to wait for home delivery. The company states that it provides support beyond the sale, with delivery, setup and aftercare services.

The company states it has been serving musicians, teachers, families and professional players since 1976, which amounts to almost fifty years of activity according to its own presentation.
