Tsundoku Club

On Sheffield Road in Doncaster, Tsundoku Club describes itself as an independent bookstore focused on manga and graphic novels. Its shelves combine new and hand-checked pre-loved copies, serving readers who follow a particular series and those looking to discover a different story.

The catalog is organized by manga demographic and genre, with shonen, seinen, shojo, horror, and manhua sections. It also carries light novels and Japanese fiction, along with complete collections, box sets, and omnibuses. This organization makes it easier to browse everything from action and adventure to other tones and formats.

Readers following a series can look for specific volumes, check new releases, or reserve upcoming titles. The store says some pre-loved books are inspected by hand and packed to arrive shelf-ready; if a copy does not meet that promise, the shop offers a replacement.

Readers new to manga can use the store’s getting-started section to choose a first series. The team describes itself as manga readers, and the website features staff picks and bestsellers. That combination of categories and recommendations can help turn a broad interest into a more focused search.

Tsundoku Club sells in-stock items, lists preorders, and offers gift cards. The website advertises dispatch within one to two business days for stocked products and free UK shipping on orders over £30. Availability and timing depend on each item’s status and the order terms.

The store is suited to customers who want to browse a local bookstore as well as readers shopping from a distance. Its Doncaster address gives a physical base to a business that also operates online; the digital catalog lets shoppers check stock, series, and formats before deciding whether to visit or order.

The name refers to the habit of accumulating books to read, and the shop is aimed at people who always have another series on their list. With new manga, hand-checked used copies, graphic novels, Japanese fiction, and staff recommendations, Tsundoku Club offers a specialist selection alongside the broader catalogs of large bookstores.
