My Divan Bed

My Divan Bed, British manufacturer of divan and ottoman beds

My Divan Bed is an online retailer specialising in divan beds, ottoman beds, upholstered bed frames, mattresses, headboards, sofas and ottoman boxes. The company makes every piece to order in its own UK workshop, so the customer chooses size, storage and fabric before the item is cut, upholstered and finished by hand.

The firm presents itself as a British craft manufacturer and states that all its products are made in its UK factory. Its catalogue is organised into several product families and it offers free UK-wide delivery with no minimum order.

Made-to-order manufacturing and guarantee

The buying process begins with choosing size, fabric and storage; the piece is then cut, upholstered and finished by hand in the Yorkshire workshop and, once ready, is sent by courier to the customer's home. The company states that it does not hold stock, but makes each bed to order.

All items come with a three-year guarantee from the date of purchase covering manufacturing and structural defects.

Fabric samples and upholstery options

My Divan Bed sends up to six free fabric samples, at no cost and with no need to return them, by first-class post. The selection includes chenille, velvet, linen, leather and other variants, with more than sixty shades available on the samples page. The company presents this option as a way to check the colour of each fabric in the light of your own home before deciding to buy.

Delivery and finance

The site states that orders are delivered within 3 to 10 working days, which may extend to between 5 and 15 working days during periods of high demand or sales. The courier notifies the customer by SMS or phone call to arrange delivery. The company notes that, as this is a bulky shipment handled by a designated carrier, it cannot guarantee specific dates, although it tries to accommodate the buyer's needs. Fabric samples are sent within five working days.

The company offers interest-free finance and instalment payment options, subject to eligibility and the provider's terms.

Editorial content and sponsorships

My Divan Bed runs an editorial section with guides on sleep, including articles on mattress firmness levels, divan base care, the stages of sleep and recommended hours of rest. The company is also a proud sponsor of Batley Cricket Club for the 2026 season.
