AM Sofa

AM Sofa: handmade upholstered sofas and beds made in the UK

AM Sofa is a British business dedicated to the manufacture and sale of upholstered sofas and beds, with a focus on artisan production. The company presents itself as a workshop that builds each frame by hand in the UK, using seasoned hardwood and reinforced joints, and finishes each piece individually. Its catalogue covers sofas, beds, storage options and bunk beds, with prices starting from £850 for sofas.

Product catalogue

The range is organised into several categories: sofas, beds, storage and bunk beds. Featured models include the Velora Chesterfield ottoman storage bed in small double size, the high base Chesterfield bed with a 60-inch headboard, the Nightflix TV bed with panel and the Chesterfield Modern Suite set. Upholstered sofas are also sold, such as the Luxury Chesterfield 6-seater in grey plush and Naple. The company states that many designs include ottoman storage, with side-lift or end-lift opening mechanisms depending on the room layout.

Materials and finishes

Available upholstery includes plush velvet, Naple, chenille and crushed velvet, in a wide range of colours such as cream, silver, truffle, mink, mustard, baby pink, black and slate grey. Exact availability varies by model. Frames are reinforced at every joint and described as suitable for daily use, with no wobble or flex, and a contemporary finish.

Sizes and compatibility

The core bed range includes double, king size and super king size. Selected styles are also available in single and small double. The company notes that beds are built to standard UK mattress dimensions, so an existing mattress will fit as long as it matches the size of the chosen model. Mattress upgrades are offered on selected products to buy both items together.

Delivery, assembly and payment

AM Sofa delivers to mainland UK. Lead times vary by fabric, colour and size, and are shown as an estimate on each product page or confirmed after ordering. Assembly is an optional service available in most delivery areas, which can be added before checkout or requested from the team before booking delivery. The company checks service availability by postcode in advance. Cash on delivery is accepted, in addition to secure payment on the online store.

Returns and warranty

The returns policy allows the item to be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty. Custom orders are non-returnable under the full terms.
