About MFC Sports

MFC Sports: custom teamwear for clubs in Ireland and beyond

MFC Sports specialises in the design, development and delivery of teamwear and leisurewear for clubs, schools, organisations and individuals. Its catalogue covers Gaelic games, LGFA (Ladies' Gaelic Football), soccer, running, dance, gymnastics and other sports, as well as serving schools and businesses. The company presents itself as a partner that supports clubs throughout the entire process, from design creation to final delivery.

A three-phase working model

MFC Sports' method is structured in three steps: design, develop and deliver. Customers can use the online Kit Builder tool to configure every detail of their kit. The company then provides mockups and sizing help, and finally ships the order directly to the customer's door. This system aims to simplify kit customisation for clubs and organisations.

Product catalogue and team packs

MFC Sports' offering includes teamwear packs for full teams, with everything needed to kit out a squad. Products include jerseys, half-zip tops, jumpers, socks, shorts and leggings, among others. The company also offers a specific range called Ives, presented as championship-ready and available in any colour combination, maintaining a premium knit detail. The catalogue is organised by sport: Gaelic games, LGFA, schools and colleges, soccer, running and other.

Loyalty15 programme

MFC Sports runs the Loyalty15 programme, which gives clubs back 15% of their net spend after a calendar year, provided the club has spent a minimum of £5,000 or €5,000. According to the company, since January 2021 it has given back over £1,000,000 to clubs and schools through this programme. The company describes this system as a way to financially support sports organisations.

History and team

MFC Sports' story goes back to 2011, when Seán O'Neill began printing custom mugs for local sports clubs from his garage. In 2016, Seán brought in his teammate and friend Fabian O'Neill to move into the world of sportswear. In 2021 the Loyalty15 programme was created and in 2024 the company moved to its new headquarters at Springtown Industrial Estate in Derry. By 2026, MFC Sports celebrates ten years dedicated to designing, developing and delivering teamwear. The company has more than 40 employees and continues to grow. Its directors are Seán O'Neill, Managing Director, and Fabian O'Neill.
