Its catalogue covers uPVC, aluminium and composite solutions, and includes everything from traditional-style windows to high thermal performance systems.

Product range for glazing

Styleglaze's offering is organised into several product families. For windows, the company supplies casement, flush casement, sash, tilt & turn, bay and bow, and aluminium models. For doors, it offers Endurance composite options, the Gallery 44 range, French doors, patio doors, uPVC doors and bi-fold doors. It also completes its catalogue with repair services, roofline, secondary glazing, verandas and carports.

Among the brands it distributes are Sheerline, Aluk UK, Origin Global Aluminium, Reynaers, Residence Collection, Solidor Composite Doors and Endurance. The company states that it offers impartial advice to choose between aluminium or uPVC, and between double or triple glazing, according to the needs and budget of each project.

Advice and technical options

Styleglaze explains that the choice of material and type of glazing affects both performance and price. It notes that uPVC windows tend to be cheaper than aluminium and offer a greater variety of qualities, while aluminium provides other characteristics. As for glazing, most windows in the UK are double glazed, but the company offers triple glazing with U-values of 0.9 W/(m²K), below the 1.8 limit set by government regulations. The company also has an energy calculator on its website to estimate savings.

Guarantees and certifications

The company is registered with FENSA, the leading authority in the UK fenestration industry, which guarantees compliance with building regulations and a standard of thermal performance. Styleglaze offers a ten-year guarantee on its products and installations, backed by an Insurance Backed Guarantee that covers the customer if the company were to cease trading. The company states it has over thirty years of experience and plans to continue operating.

Repair and maintenance services

In addition to new installations, Styleglaze provides double glazing repair services. Among the problems they address are misted or cloudy glass, faulty locks and damaged frames. The company advises on whether to repair or replace, and also carries out preventive maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication of moving parts and inspection for possible damage. Its website details the causes and solutions for condensation in double glazed windows.
