Classic FM Romance

Classic FM Romance, online dating for Classic FM listeners

Classic FM Romance is an online dating service linked to the British radio station Classic FM. The platform presents itself as a safe and trusted space to meet people, with member profiles and photos that the website describes as verified. Registration is free and access is via username or email address and password.

Profiles and partner search

The site offers a two-way matching system that suggests matches based on the user's criteria. Searches can be basic or advanced, and also by username or keyword. Available sections include new members, those currently online, featured profiles — the most favourited profiles in the last month —, the photo gallery with those who have recently uploaded a photo, and recently updated profiles.

Connection and contact tools

The platform organises social activity around several sections: connections, profile views, favourites, fans, mutual fans and a first impressions feature described as the quickest way to connect with others. Messaging is private and users can block those who do not meet their expectations.

Subscriptions and gifts

The service distinguishes between free registration and a paid subscription. The website details rates, subscription status and history, and allows the purchase of subscriptions as gifts for other members.

Safety and community guidelines

Classic FM Romance publishes dating safety tips, community guidelines to keep the community a pleasant environment, a privacy policy and terms of use. It also has a channel to report abuse by other members and warns that profiles may be shared across its network of services.

Featured profiles and user experiences

The homepage shows featured profiles of members living in various UK locations, such as Hackney (London), Andover (Hampshire), Retford (Nottinghamshire), Bristol, Portsmouth (Hampshire) and Banstead (Surrey), with ages in the visible examples ranging from 44 to 67. The site also features success stories from members who have found partners, including the testimonial of a user who recounts having met a woman ten miles away and describes her as his ideal partner.
