Custom computers for gaming and professional work in the UK

Build My Rig is a British company dedicated to the design and assembly of custom computers. Its catalogue is organised according to intended use: gaming machines, systems for content creators and configurations aimed at professional workloads. Each system is planned according to the customer's budget, games and goals, and is stress-tested and benchmarked before delivery.

The company operates as Build My Rig Ltd, with company number 17033752 and VAT registration 520 6819 02, registered in England and Wales. Its declared registered office is in Darlington, England. The site states that systems are delivered anywhere in the UK.

Gaming systems: tiers, resolutions and specific games

The gaming catalogue is structured by resolution and performance. There are specific collections for 1080p, 1440p and 4K, with descriptions that point to high or ultra settings and specific frame rates depending on the case. There is also a section of systems for Football Manager with three selected configurations, and a Nova X3D range designed for gamers seeking higher performance.

In addition to the categories by resolution, the shop offers selections by game: Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Counterstrike 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, GTA V, Hogwarts: Legacy, Marvel: Rivals, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Minecraft. In each of these sections, entry, recommended and ultimate options are proposed.

Custom configuration and peripherals

There is a quote request form for those looking for something different from the catalogue models. Alongside the computers, the shop sells gaming monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets and full setup bundles.

Buying process, warranty and support

According to the company's own presentation, each system is planned, assembled and stress-tested to deliver the expected performance without mismatched components. The declared warranty is three years. Support is provided by the same people who build the system, and customers receive updates on the build process, as well as photos before dispatch in several of the cases described in the reviews. Benchmark results are included on the desktop of the delivered system.

The site shows an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 attributed to verified customers.
