Origin and history of the company
Beer Sniffers arose from the initiative of two beer enthusiasts: one of them, raised around several Lancashire pubs owned by his family, and the other, a Yorkshireman with a large shed that ended up being used for beer storage. The company's name is inspired by Sally, the black labrador dog of one of the founders, who would sniff the ale orders when they arrived. The company maintains links with Yorkshire and Lancashire and presents itself as a project born of friendship and a shared interest in beer.
Loyalty programme and content
The shop has a loyalty programme based on Beer Tokens, as well as a Beer Club that offers incentives to customers. It also publishes a blog with articles on beer-related topics, such as Oktoberfest beers, International Beer Day, the most commonly used hop varieties or the differences between keg and cask beer. Users can subscribe to a newsletter to receive exclusive offers.
