The Rings
Accessible cottage, cabins, and camping on a family farm in Fife, near Cupar and St Andrews.
About The Rings
In the Fife countryside, The Rings has turned a family farm into a place to stay where groups with different needs can share a vacation. The property brings together an accessible holiday cottage that can sleep up to 16 people, six cabins, and camping pitches. Each offers a different way to settle into the rural setting, within driving distance of Cupar and St Andrews.
Accessibility is central to the project. The cottage can be arranged as smaller units and has single-level bedrooms, generous circulation space, and equipment such as ceiling track hoists. Some cabins also include wet rooms and accessible kitchens. At Bissett’s Barn, a play space and Ring Farm experiences introduce families, visitors, and groups to farm life. Equipment and specific activities vary by accommodation and booking.
The surroundings encourage a slower pace: the farm opens onto views of the Fife countryside and local walking routes, while its location makes it possible to plan outings to St Andrews and other parts of the region. The Rings can work for a couple’s getaway or a large family gathering, but it is worth choosing the accommodation setup carefully and discussing access, support equipment, and activities with the property before booking.
