The company was created by Pamela Cormack after identifying the need for a dedicated payroll service for families who employ someone in their home. Cormack is also the founder of Lothian Childcare Solutions and has worked most of her adult life in childcare, in nurseries and in a Children and Families Centre, and until 2017 as an inspector with The Care Inspectorate, the regulatory body for care services in Scotland.

She works alongside Steven Keenan, payroll manager, with over twenty years of experience in the sector.
