Carsa is a British retailer specialising in the sale of second-hand cars. The company sells used vehicles from brands such as BMW, Audi, Land Rover, Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, Peugeot and Mazda, among others, and maintains an inventory of more than 2,500 cars. Its proposition is built on competitive pricing: according to its own presentation, its prices are on average £700 below Auto Trader market valuations.

Vehicle range and prices

The catalogue is organised by budget and by monthly payment. Buyers can filter by price ranges — cars under £7,500, £10,000, £15,000 and £20,000, or over £20,000 — and also by monthly payment, with bands up to £100, £200, £300, £400 or over £400 per month. The website shows specific examples of vehicles with discounts ranging from £386 to £2,880 off the previous price, such as a Land Rover Discovery Sport, a BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, a Range Rover Velar, an Audi e-tron GT, a BMW X3, an Audi A6 Saloon, a Peugeot 2008, a Mazda3, a Kia Sportage, a Hyundai Ioniq 5, an Audi Q3 or a Nissan Qashqai.

Finance and payment methods

Carsa offers flexible finance through PCP and HP plans, with rates from 8.9% APR (Representative 10.9% APR). Current offers

The company applies two main promotions on a selection of vehicles. The first consists of a £500 deposit contribution when an eligible car is financed, an amount that goes directly towards reducing the amount financed and therefore the monthly payment. The second is a one-year extended warranty valued at £499, included at no cost on certain cars. Warranties and after-sales protection

All Carsa vehicles include a 90-day warranty as standard, covering key mechanical and electrical components. In addition, the company sells protection products under the names carsaCover, carsaCoverEv, carsaProtect and carsaExtras. carsaCover covers warranties and cosmetic cover; carsaCoverEv is aimed at electric vehicles; carsaProtect protects paint, leather and fabrics; and carsaExtras offers practical accessories such as mats, bumper guards, dash cams and EV chargers. The firm also provides MOT and servicing through its network.

Buying process and car preparation

Every vehicle undergoes a full mechanical inspection, a detailed cosmetic preparation and an Auto Trader Provenance Check before being put up for sale. The Reserve & Collect system allows you to reserve a car for a £39 refundable fee and have it moved to the branch of your choice for a test drive. The company also offers an instant valuation of the buyer's vehicle, with the option of an outright sale or part exchange, and a guaranteed part-exchange valuation for seven days based on market data.
