The company supplies kiln-dried firewood and wood briquettes throughout the UK, with offices in Cirencester and a network of distribution nodes across the country. Firewood and briquette range

The shop's range is organised around several product families: premium firewood, wood briquettes, premium coal and wood pellets. Among the firewood references are premium kiln-dried hardwood firewood, kiln-dried ash firewood and kiln-dried birch firewood. Premium hardwood firewood is sold in full, standard and max volume crates, with a density of 500 kg/m³ and ratings of 4.5 out of 5 for heat output, 4 out of 5 for burn duration and 5 out of 5 for ease of ignition, and is presented as suitable for all-round use. Ash firewood, with 2,210 reviews, has a density of 430 kg/m³ and ratings of 4, 4 and 3.5 out of 5 for heat, duration and ignition, respectively, and is aimed at everyday heating. Birch firewood, with 1,499 reviews, has a density of 400 kg/m³ and ratings of 4.5, 3 and 5 out of 5, and is recommended for quick warmth.

Premium kiln-dried hardwood firewood is also offered in 20-litre plastic bags, in packs of 64, 32 and 16 bags. Each crate states its loose volume and its price per cubic metre, and each species is graded for heat, burn duration and overall quality.

Briquettes and other fuels

In the briquettes section, the company sells Ecoblaze Pini-Kay briquettes on pallets of 96, 48 or 24 packs, with ratings of 5 out of 5 for heat, 4.5 out of 5 for duration and 3.5 out of 5 for ease of ignition, presented for all-round use. It also offers Ecoblaze Nestro heat logs on pallets of 96, 48 or 24 packs, with ratings of 4.5 out of 5 for heat, 5 out of 5 for duration and 2 out of 5 for ignition, aimed at overnight use. Ecoblaze RUF fire blocks are also sold on pallets of 96, 48 or 24 packs, with ratings of 4, 3.5 and 4.5 out of 5 for heat, duration and ignition, and are recommended for everyday heating. The company notes that briquettes provide up to 50% more heat per kilo than traditional firewood and take up a fraction of the space when stacked.

The range is completed with premium coal, wood pellets and Ecoblaze Natural Firelighters, described as odourless, wax-free and reliable to light. The shop includes a 'Fuel Finder' tool that, through three quick questions, guides the customer towards the right product and crate size according to how often they burn.

Certifications and purchasing conditions

All of Firewood.co.uk's firewood and briquettes are certified 'Ready to Burn', which means a moisture content below 20%. According to the company, this translates into a more efficient burn, less smoke and fewer particulate emissions, and allows their use in compliant stoves in smoke control areas and urban areas. The company has also received the Feefo Platinum Service Award.

Standard delivery is free to most UK mainland postcodes, and premium and nominated day services are available. Payment can be split into three interest-free instalments through PayPal. The company also has refer-a-friend and wholesale supply programmes.
