The company invested £12 million in a purpose-built auction site in Castleford, designed to accommodate its vendors' stock.

In 2021, the G3 team was recognised as one of the top ten automotive companies to work for according to the Best Companies survey. That same year, the company won three industry awards, including 'Remarketing Company of the Year' at the Independent Dealer Awards and the Motor Trader Industry Awards, as well as 'Auction House of the Year' awarded by Car Dealer. In 2022 it received a 'Highly Commended' mention at the Car Dealer Power Awards and the Motor Trader Industry Awards. In a later edition it again won the 'Remarketing Company of the Year' award at the Independent Dealer Awards and the 'Auction House of the Year' award from Car Dealer.

Sports sponsorship and communication

For the 2025 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season, G3 joined as a sponsor of the NAPA Racing UK team. The company sponsors two drivers and their cars: G3 Castleford supports driver number 27, Dan Cammish, while G3 Bedford supports driver number 77, Sam Osborne. The season comprises ten race weekends between April and October across the UK. As part of the agreement, G3 also offers light commercial vehicles at its upcoming auctions.

Social and environmental responsibility

G3 has its own ESG policy and works with two charities. With the Prince of Wales Hospice, in Pontefract, it maintains a relationship of more than ten years that combines fundraising activities and donations from part of its profits; since 2010 it has contributed more than £150,000. With Martin House Children's Hospice, in Boston Spa, it has collaborated since 2019 through the donation of vehicles sold, events and fundraising campaigns, with more than £15,000 donated.
