About Kent Motorcycles
Honda dealership and workshop in Barham, Canterbury
Kent Motorcycles is a Honda specialist dealership located on Dover Road (A2), in Barham, Canterbury (Kent). The business presents itself as the longest serving active Honda dealership in the South East of England and states it was established in 1990, with more than three decades of experience in the sector. In 2025, according to its own information, it ranked among the top ten dealerships in the UK for overall customer satisfaction.
New and used motorcycle sales
The business covers the full range of new Honda motorcycles, with dedicated sections for in-stock models and accessories, as well as a used bike section with a vehicle search by make, model and maximum price. The company also buys used motorcycles from private individuals, a service it describes as a more personal alternative to selling directly.
Workshop and after-sales services
The on-site workshop is staffed by Honda factory-trained technicians, with up-to-date diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-approved methods. It covers routine maintenance, complex repairs and performance tuning. The after-sales offering includes a six-year warranty, used motorcycle guarantees, fixed-price service plans and tailored service plans, as well as Honda financial services and insurance.
Motorcycle training school
Kent Motorcycles runs two motorcycle training centres in Kent; the first of these was launched in 1992. The school offers a free taster session, the one-day CBT course, theory training and test preparation, and full licence courses, with information on what happens if you do not pass the tests. The company states that those who book a course can access an offer of up to £900 towards the purchase of a Honda motorcycle.
On-site gear and café
Alongside motorcycle sales, the dealership sells genuine parts, accessories and quality rider clothing. H's Café, an on-site café open to the public, operates at the same location.
