Duxford Airfield as a Base

Aerial Collective operates from Duxford, an airfield that was an RAF base and which the company describes as the first RAF airfield to receive the Spitfire. Today it houses, according to its presentation, the largest number of airworthy Spitfires on one site. The field was home to Douglas Bader and the filming location for the 1969 film Battle of Britain, and it is home to the Imperial War Museums. The company highlights that the airfield is easily accessible from Cambridge and London and is suitable for family visits.

Pilots and Crew

The company has its own team of pilots and crew, presented on its website along with the history of the airfield and No. 19 Squadron. The aircraft fleet is displayed in its hangar.
