Lawsons, building and gardening supplies merchant

Lawsons is a building and gardening supplies merchant with a presence in the United Kingdom. Its catalogue ranges from timber and fencing to tools, sanitaryware and masonry materials, and combines online sales with a network of local branches that users can find through the store locator on the website.

Fencing and gardening

The fencing section includes fence panels of various types — closeboard, lap, decorative, trellis and open pale — as well as timber, concrete and round posts, and accessories such as caps and finials, gravel boards, arris rails and clips. It also offers specialist fencing from the Jacksons Fencing and DuraPost brands, chainlink, chestnut and post & rail fencing, plus garden gates, field gates and metal gates with their ironmongery.

In gardening and landscaping, the range includes railway sleepers — bulk with nationwide delivery, softwood and hardwood, and used or reclaimed — timber and composite decking boards with their balustrading and fixings, garden and driveway paving, slabs, kerbs and decorative aggregates. Artificial grass, topsoil, compost, garden edging, outdoor lighting and garden furniture such as pergolas, arches, benches, tables and planters are also available.

Building and materials

The offer for construction includes aggregates such as sand, ballast, gravel and road salt; bricks, blocks and beams; roofing with GRP products, insulation, battens, felts and lead; and civil engineering solutions such as mesh, reinforcing bars and drainage. It also has cements, lime, mortar, concrete and steel lintels, composite and timber external cladding, and building chemicals such as adhesives, additives and sealants.

The catalogue is completed with fixings — screws, nails, bolts, ironmongery and joist hangers —, insulation and plasterboard, Velux roof windows and their accessories, interior doors from the JB Kind and Deanta brands, flooring and underfloor heating, and hardware and hand and power tools from brands such as STIHL, Milwaukee, Makita and Honda.
