Oakwood Parking: parking for Bristol Airport

Oakwood Parking is a British company specialising in vehicle parking for travellers using Bristol Airport. Its offering combines competitive pricing, security and a shuttle service that connects the site to the terminal in around five minutes, available 24 hours a day.

Parking and transfer service

The car park is presented as secure with limited spaces. The company moves vehicles to one of its enclosed compounds for the duration of the customer's stay, at a maximum distance of four miles. The drivers who carry out these movements are fully insured. On return, the vehicle is prepared for collection at the reception car park.

The shuttle service runs continuously, although the company warns that space on the bus is limited: customers with skis, surfboards, golf clubs or bicycles must leave them at the airport before parking the car.

Vans, campervans and large vehicles are not accepted due to limited space. Bookings can be made online, but same-day bookings are not accepted through the website; in that case it is necessary to call by phone.

Indicative rates

The page includes a price guide by length of stay: from £50 for one day to £130 for seventeen days, with progressive increases. Beyond that duration, each additional day is charged at £5. This is a reference published on the site and subject to possible changes.

Conditions and liability

The company states that it accepts no responsibility for damage to windscreens or tyres while the vehicle is parked, and recommends that customers report any such damage on arrival. At the end of the stay, it requests a full inspection of the vehicle and that any damage be reported immediately to staff. Once the customer leaves the car park, the company declares it is not responsible for subsequent damage. Vehicles and their contents are left entirely at the owner's risk.

Beechwood B&B accommodation

Oakwood Parking also offers accommodation at Beechwood B&B, designed for those with early-morning flights. The house was designed by an architect and built in 2014, on a three-quarter-acre plot surrounded by mature hedges and trees, with fields on three sides. The apartments are a recent conversion of a building on the grounds adjacent to the main house.

The accommodation is very close to the airport and about a twenty-minute drive from Bristol city centre. There are regular buses to Bristol a few minutes' walk away. The location provides easy access to the Mendip Hills, Cheddar and Wookey Hole; Weston-super-Mare is about a 25-minute drive away and junction 19 of the M5 (Gordano) about 20 minutes.

The published rates are £90 per night for one or two people, £110 for three people and £123 for four, in rooms with two double beds. Check-out must be before 10:00.

Relocation

The site announces that from 1 October 2026 the company will move premises to Newditch Farm, Potters Hill, Felton, Bristol BS40 9XB, approximately 100 yards from its current location.

Christmas closure

The service is closed from 16:00 on Christmas Eve until 4:00 on Boxing Day.
