The Adventure Team Parties

The Adventure Team Parties: themed children's parties in the South West of England

The Adventure Team Parties is a children's entertainment company specialising in themed birthday parties with immersive storytelling. Its approach combines interactive storytelling, imaginative play, comedic characterisation, action games and a soundtrack to create one-hour experiences aimed at children aged 4 to 7. The company operates in Bristol, Stroud, Cheltenham, Bath and other areas of the South West of England, including Somerset and the Cotswolds, and its local teams travel to homes, halls and gardens.

Eight themed adventures for birthdays

The party catalogue includes eight different themes, each with its own story and characters:

• Space Adventure: a space mission to stop Derek the Conehead, with lightsaber battles and rocket rides.
• Safari Adventure: a jungle expedition with Jungle Jim or Jane to rescue the rare WahWah bird from the clutches of hunter Roderick Bottom.
• Spy Adventure: a top-secret mission with Jane or James Blonde to stop the villainous Iva Greenbogey from blowing up Buckingham Palace.
• Fairytale Adventure: the story of a not-so-brave knight who must become a hero, with dragons, wizards and a very talkative frog.
• Superhero Adventure: the defence of Bottom City against the evil Toymaker, with superhero training.
• Dinosaur Adventure: a prehistoric adventure.
• Pirate Adventure: a pirate voyage.
• Underwater Adventure: a dive into the Arctic Ocean.

A party format adapted to special educational needs is also offered (SEN Party Adventures).

School workshops for primary education

In addition to parties, the company organises visits to primary schools with immersive history workshops. Through storytelling, role-play, games and team challenges, pupils can explore topics such as the Romans, the Vikings, the Anglo-Saxons, the Stone Age and Ancient Egypt. These workshops are available for schools in Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Stroud and Gloucestershire.

Ratings and recognition

The company states it has more than 150 five-star reviews on Google. In its own presentation it describes itself as one of the best children's entertainers in Bristol. The testimonials collected on the site highlight the ability to keep children absorbed for more than an hour, the team's energy and the originality of the approach.
